Fifty-nine by fifty-nine works in a corner or the middle of a room. The seventy-one-inch pen wants a wall. If your floor plan has an awkward gap rather than a clear run of wall, measure both before assuming bigger is better.
The grey model is identical and cheaper. Beige suits warm rooms and matches the slides in this catalogue; grey disappears in a modern nursery. That is the whole difference, and it is worth knowing you are paying for paint.
Room for a baby, a small pile of toys and a seated adult with knees tucked. Two toddlers will use it and complain. If you have two children under three, size up rather than buying this one and hoping.
Corner joints were reworked to resist cracking and the fabric panel was cut larger, both of which make the pen go together with less force. Most parents get it standing in twenty minutes without tools.
