The Elk series is the compact family, fifty-four by sixty-two inches instead of eighty-two. This is the top of that family. You get the drawing board, the golf set, the tunnel and the crawl aisle, and you give up the swing that only the large frames carry.
Fifty-four inches long fits along a wall in a bedroom or a narrow playroom, which the eighty-two-inch sets do not. Kids aged one to three do not notice the difference in slide length nearly as much as parents expect. The floor space you keep is real.
A blackboard panel with coloured markers and an eraser, mounted on the side of the structure. It gets used long after the slide starts feeling small, and it is the feature that separates the Elk models from the plain seven and six-piece slides.
The moulding has antler shapes worked into the frame, in the same warm neutral palette as the large set. Available in three colourways across the Elk line, so if this one is out of stock the beige and gray or the green version is the same structure.
HDPE, ASTM, CPSIA and CPC, 155 pounds. Smaller footprint does not mean a lighter build here. The anti-slip treatment on the stairs is the same part used on the eighty-two-inch models.
